Whether it is people living on the flood-plains of Bangladesh or the islanders of Kiribati, there are millions today who are on the front line of climate change. We need to pay attention. Our engagement with ecological questions is fundamentally about the lives of countless millions of human beings whose lives are at risk. And among those at risk, it is the children and young people whose lives are daily diminished by environmental degradation.
